It’s simple, effective, and doesn’t involve a million steps. Here’s the routine that transformed my hair, along with some recommended products that have made all the difference. Remember, you should wash your hair as often as it needs; for me, washing every 2-3 days has worked perfectly.

Pre-Shampoo: The Foundation of Healthy Hair

Pre-shampooing is essential for preparing and protecting your hair before the actual shampooing process. You should also do this to your damp hair,  but only to the roots. Apply a small amount of hair oil to the tips of your hair to keep them hydrated and prevent split ends. Hair oils also add a beautiful shine and smoothness to your strands.

Styling

If you plan to use heat styling tools, always apply a heat protectant spray to your hair. This product creates a barrier that protects your hair from the damaging effects of heat, preventing breakage and split ends.

Extra tips for Optimal Hair Health

-Weekly Hair mask: Once a week, indulge in a deep conditioning hair mask to give your hair an extra boost of hydration and nutrients.

– UV Protection: When heading to the pool or beach, use a UV protectant to shield your hair from sun damage. Apply leave-in conditioner before swimming to protect your hair from chlorine and saltwater.
